About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at Peel House in Melksham. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for the individuals we support, helping them to gain independence and confidence in their daily lives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with personal care and daily living tasks, promoting independence and dignity
  • Encourage and support individuals to access their local communities, engage in activities, and develop new skills
  • Work collaboratively with the team to provide a supportive and inclusive environment
  • Develop and maintain Positive Behaviour Support plans, reflecting on and adapting to individual needs
  • Hold a full UK driving license and drive company vehicles to facilitate outings and activities

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A genuine passion for enhancing the quality of life for individuals with learning disabilities and complex health needs
  • Experience working with individuals with Positive Behaviour Support plans and reflective practice
  • Resilience, flexibility, and a composed approach
  • A full UK driving license
