About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at Peel House in Melksham. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for the individuals we support, helping them to gain independence and confidence in their daily lives.

Our residential service is a welcoming and friendly environment, and no two days will be the same. You will have the opportunity to teach new life skills, assist with personal care, encourage participation in local communities, and engage in a variety of activities such as trips out, sensory experiences, and arts and crafts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support individuals with Learning disabilities, complex health needs, and other requirements
  • Assist with personal care, including peg feeding, insulin administration, and epilepsy management
  • Encourage participation in activities, such as trips out, sensory experiences, and arts and crafts
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with individuals, their families, and other stakeholders
  • Contribute to a dynamic team environment, promoting a culture of respect, empathy, and understanding
Requirements

We are looking for someone who is genuinely caring, hands-on, and passionate about enhancing the quality of life for the individuals we support. You will need to be resilient, flexible, and composed in your approach, with experience working with individuals with complex needs. A full UK driving license is preferred, as you will be required to drive company vehicles to support individuals in their daily lives.
