About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at Peel House in Melksham. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for the individuals we support, helping them to gain independence and confidence in their daily lives.

Our residential service is a welcoming and friendly environment, and no two days will be the same. You will have the opportunity to teach new life skills, assist with personal care, encourage participation in local communities, and engage in a variety of activities such as trips out, sensory experiences, and arts and crafts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support individuals with Learning disabilities, complex health needs, and other requirements
  • Assist with personal care, including peg feeding and insulin administration
  • Encourage participation in local communities and activities
  • Develop and maintain Positive Behaviour Support plans and reflective practice
  • Work collaboratively with the team to ensure high-quality care and support

Requirements

A full UK driving license is preferred, as you will be required to drive company vehicles to support the individuals we care for.
