Medical Secretary Opportunity

Source Recruit is excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for a Medical Secretary to join an NHS organisation in Brighton. Working within a dynamic and fast-paced healthcare environment, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth management of patient records, correspondence, and queries.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Transcribe medical letters using the G2 dictation system
  • Finalise and send completed letters
  • Handle patient referrals
  • Manage patient queries
  • Process incoming post, including results and GP inquiries
  • Manage email correspondence
  • Answer telephone calls
  • Request and return patient notes to the central library
Requirements:
  • Previous experience as a medical secretary
  • Strong organisational and communication skills, with attention to detail
  • Preferable experience with G2 Speech, Careflow, Outlook, M365, and Teams

Contract Details:

  • Initial 3-month contract with the possibility of extension
  • Monday - Friday, 09:00 – 17:00 with a 30-minute break
  • On-site in Brighton
  • Competitive hourly rate (dependent on experience)
