Quality and Safeguarding Officer

Mantra Learning, the UK's leading Logistics learning and development organisation, is seeking a highly skilled Quality and Safeguarding Officer to join our team in Middleton.

About the Role

This is a full-time role that will facilitate and provide support in the development and ongoing quality assurance of the standard operating procedures for the quality department and safeguarding. The successful candidate will work closely with the Quality Manager to ensure the quality of the provision is maintained, controlled, and continuously improved.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Quality Manager in developing, implementing, and overseeing all people and curriculum operations to support sustained quality and growth of the provision.
  • Act as Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead and support the Designated Safeguarding Lead in ensuring all safeguarding operational matters are dealt with in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Manage and monitor the quality calendar.
  • Support the quality manager with quality improvement, supporting quality standards internally and externally.
  • Ensure best practice is followed in line with the OFSTED Education Inspection Framework (EIF) and that all stakeholders are aware of developments in the EIF and support the quality manager leading on inspection readiness planning relating to external quality assurance visits from OFSTED and Matrix.
Requirements
  • Safeguarding in education experience.
  • Experience of using management information systems to monitor, audit, track, and report on data.
  • Level 3 or equivalent experience.
  • Safeguarding qualification.
  • An excellent understanding of, and commitment to: Equality and diversity, safeguarding, British Values, and Prevent.
