We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Specialist to join our Operations team at Global Draw Limited. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality products are being shipped to our customers while ensuring compliance with the latest local legislation.

Main Responsibilities

* Control, maintain and monitor quality standards within operations.
* Ensure that new products are introduced efficiently into operations from the supply chain and contract manufacturers.
* Manage the approval of FAIR's and where necessary create bespoke approvals for product or piece part approvals.
* Ensure that all relevant documentation is available for RoHS and UKCA CE compliance etc.
* Manage the MS Form and team's workplace for centralised fault reporting and tracking through to resolution.
* Raise concerns / care points and reports internal and external.
* Take part and lead meetings when the quality manager is unavailable, especially RFW BAU and product meetings.
* Develop and manage a new handover process to operations.
* Conduct spot checks on current builds for supplier and in house issues manage the process of inspecting incoming product, sampling and compiling data analysis and reports.
* Assist the quality manager in maintaining our Weee (waste electrical and electronic equipment) certification.
* Manage and develop SOP's, engaging with third parties (field service etc) for a comprehensive approach.
* Using the in house semi anechoic chamber and lab test equipment manage the testing environment and product compliance function.
* Ensure Lab equipment is fit for purpose, and calibrated.
* Consult with contacts in the supply chain and be instrumental in the product management approval process to control any firmware changes.
* Communicate with the BOE (Bank of England) and BOS (Bank of Scotland) and Royal Mints etc.
* Manage and assist the quality engineer in the diagnosis of issues especially around money handling.
* Assist in the collection and analysis quality data for vendor rating and feedback.
* Ensure that the rejection processes are managed effectively and follow up with correction, root cause and corrective action.
* Be actively involved in improving business process and value engineering.
* Help maintain the company's ISO 9001:2015 QMS.
* Must enrol with LRQA or similar organisation to obtain professional training in Internal Auditing
* Assist with the audit program, schedule, and inductions etc.
* Help administer the Q-Pulse document management system.
* Be willing to travel and conduct internal and external audits.

Requirements

* Strong experience and skill in using the MS suite packages as well as Quality software.
* Knowledge, understanding and practice of ISO 9001:2015.
* Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, adapt to changing priorities, and lead teams through complex projects with ambiguity.
* Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset, with a commitment to driving continuous improvement and achieving measurable results.
