Your Role

As a Supervising Social Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting foster parents and ensuring the well-being of children placed in their care. You will provide regular supervision, guidance, and support to foster families, helping them navigate the challenges and rewards of fostering.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive support and monitoring to foster parents, promoting best practices and ensuring a safe and nurturing environment for children.
  • Conduct regular supervision sessions with foster families, addressing their needs, concerns, and successes.
  • Collaborate with other professionals involved in the child's care, including social workers, therapists, and educators, to develop individualized support plans.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and safeguarding procedures, promoting the safety and well-being of all children in our care.
  • Contribute to a positive and supportive team environment, sharing knowledge and expertise with colleagues.
Your Qualifications

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Social Worker with a passion for fostering. You will possess:

  • A recognized Social Work qualification.
  • Professional registration with Social Work England or equivalent.
  • Proven experience in working with foster families and children in care.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and report writing skills.
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
