Job Summary

The role of a Wealth Planner at Royal Bank of Canada involves providing bespoke financial advice to successful executives, entrepreneurs, business owners, and their families. This position requires a deep understanding of the financial needs and goals of high-net-worth individuals and families, as well as the ability to develop and implement comprehensive financial plans to help them achieve their objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the financial objectives of the Wealth Planning team by identifying and meeting new business opportunities from existing clients and prospects across the RBC network.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders and clients to understand their financial goals and objectives.
  • Provide financial planning and investment advice to high-net-worth individuals and families, including wealth management, estate planning, and tax planning.
  • Stay up-to-date with regulatory and market developments to ensure that clients receive the best possible advice and guidance.
  • Collaborate with other RBC teams to provide a comprehensive range of financial services to clients.
Requirements
  • Education to degree level or equivalent.
  • Level 6 financial planning qualification (CII/CISI) with experience of working with UHNW/HNW clients.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory and legal frameworks surrounding Life and Pensions products and services.
  • Experience of selling and promoting Life and Pension products and services in the High-Net-Worth space.
  • Strong understanding of tax legislation and appreciation of competitor landscape in the products and services market.
