We are seeking a highly skilled Sales Strategist to join our team at Lombard Odier. As a Sales Strategist, you will play a key role in driving sales growth and improving sales performance across our global footprint.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct analysis and research into sales results, sales effectiveness, and customer analytics to inform go-forward sales strategy.
  • Work closely with the Senior Sales Strategist to develop and implement sales plans, including identifying opportunities to improve data quality and process efficiency.
  • Prepare and facilitate sales planning sessions, and document and deliver on resulting action plans.
  • Develop a deep understanding of client and product financials across our geographical footprint, including relevant trends and watchouts.
  • Improve management visibility of key financial metrics, including team flows and sales.
  • Promote best practice use of Salesforce and identify mechanisms to mandate its use within sales teams.
  • Define business requirements for changes, enhancements, or new Tableau views, and support efforts to ensure data quality.
  • Build effective relationships with sales team members to facilitate successful work efforts.
  • Liaise with internal departments to coordinate and deliver core business management activities.
  • Participate in cross-functional projects as necessary, providing sales-related business requirements and guidance.
  • Produce ad-hoc sales and business development presentations as required.
  • Creation of one-off and ongoing reports to support the above activities.
Your Profile

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Sales Strategist with a strong background in sales and strategy. The ideal candidate will have:

  • At least 5 years of experience working in a strategy or sales role within an asset management organization.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and spoken.
  • Technical knowledge of financial instruments and markets.
  • In-depth knowledge of investment fund and financial regulations.
  • Strong knowledge of the mutual fund market landscape.
  • Ability to interpret qualitative and quantitative financial data and provide insightful positioning.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent analytical skills that offer insight into sales results, sales effectiveness, and help set go-forward sales strategy.
  • Advanced knowledge of Salesforce and Tableau.
