About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Sales Strategist to join our team at Lombard Odier, a renowned global wealth and asset manager. As a Sales Strategist, you will play a critical role in driving sales growth and improving sales performance across our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct in-depth analysis and research into sales results, sales effectiveness, and customer analytics to inform go-forward sales strategy.
  • Work closely with the Senior Sales Strategist to develop and implement sales strategies, and provide recommendations to Business Development Leadership.
  • Identify opportunities to improve data quality, process efficiency, and management information, including sales pipeline and financial management information.
  • Develop and deliver sales planning sessions, and ensure effective implementation of resulting action plans.
  • Build strong relationships with sales team members to facilitate successful work efforts, and collaborate with internal departments to coordinate and deliver core business management activities.
  • Participate in cross-functional projects as necessary, providing sales-related business requirements and guidance.
  • Produce high-quality sales and business development presentations, and create reports to support sales and business development activities.
Requirements
  • At least 5 years of experience in a strategy or sales role within an asset management organization.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and spoken, with the ability to interpret qualitative and quantitative financial data.
  • Technical knowledge of financial instruments and markets, with a strong understanding of investment fund and financial regulations.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to provide insightful positioning and recommendations.
  • Strong knowledge of Salesforce and Tableau, with the ability to promote best practice use of these tools.
