About the Role

Lombard Odier, a renowned global wealth and asset management firm, is seeking a highly skilled Sales Strategist to join its team. As a key member of the organization, you will play a crucial role in driving sales growth and developing strategic initiatives to enhance the company's market position.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of sales results and customer analytics to inform go-forward sales strategy.
  • Collaborate with the Senior Sales Strategist to develop and implement sales plans, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Identify opportunities to improve data quality, process efficiency, and management information systems.
  • Develop and facilitate sales planning sessions, documenting and delivering on resulting action plans.
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with sales team members, fostering a collaborative environment.
  • Liaise with internal departments to coordinate and deliver core business management activities.
  • Participate in cross-functional projects, providing sales-related business requirements and guidance.
  • Produce ad-hoc sales and business development presentations as required.
  • Creation of one-off and ongoing reports to support sales and business development activities.
Requirements
  • At least 5 years of experience in a strategy or sales role within an asset management organization.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and spoken.
  • Technical knowledge of financial instruments and markets.
  • In-depth knowledge of investment fund and financial regulations.
  • Strong knowledge of the mutual fund market landscape.
  • Ability to interpret qualitative and quantitative financial data and provide insightful positioning.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent analytical skills that offer insight into sales results and sales effectiveness.
  • Advanced knowledge of Salesforce and Tableau.
