Position Overview:
We are seeking a seasoned Enterprise/Solution Architect with a strong background in Front Office investment management to support our strategic initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
As an architect, you will be responsible for designing and implementing solutions that address complex business challenges within our Front Office. Your role will involve:

  • Architecting a shared platform that aligns with our Asset Management goals.
  • Promoting and advocating for Enterprise Architecture (EA) principles while communicating their value to technology partners.
  • Defining and managing architectural processes and documentation.
  • Collaborating with engineering leads to review significant design decisions.
  • Ensuring adherence to architectural standards and effectively communicating any deviations.
  • Leading reviews of ongoing projects and providing hands-on engineering support as necessary.
  • Documenting all solution architecture artifacts in accordance with established standards.
  • Coordinating with fellow enterprise architects to ensure cohesive solution architecture.
  • Balancing immediate tactical needs with long-term strategic objectives.
  • Exhibiting flexibility and pragmatism in problem-solving.

Required Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Experience in Portfolio Management or Research within the Asset Management sector.
  • Proficiency in defining architecture strategies and roadmaps.
  • A practical mindset geared towards engineering and problem-solving.
  • Familiarity with common architectural frameworks and models.
  • Strong communication skills for engaging with business and technology stakeholders.
  • Experience with cloud-first application development, preferably including AWS.
