Job Description

Job Title: AWS Solutions Architect

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced AWS Solutions Architect to join our team at Bloomberg Enterprise Technology Solutions. As an AWS Solutions Architect, you will be responsible for designing, configuring, and deploying integration solutions between Bloomberg's premier applications and our clients' systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement integration solutions using AWS services such as API Gateway, Lambda, and S3.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand client requirements and develop solutions that meet their needs.
  • Collaborate with clients to ensure successful integration of their systems with Bloomberg's applications.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation and knowledge base articles.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest AWS services and features, and apply this knowledge to improve our integration solutions.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in a technical role, with a focus on cloud integration and AWS services.
  • Strong understanding of AWS services, including API Gateway, Lambda, S3, and VPC.
  • Experience with data transformations, ETL workflows, and XML/XSLT.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with big data analytics and data visualization tools.
  • Knowledge of financial markets and trading workflows.
  • Programming skills in languages such as Python, Java, or C++.
  • Experience with containerization using Docker.
