We are pleased to offer a challenging and rewarding opportunity for an experienced Dental Surgeon to join our team at University Hospitals Plymouth NHS Trust. Our OMFS department is a regional trauma centre and one of the largest hospitals in the Southwest of England.
Job Responsibilities- Provide high-quality care to patients with dentoalveolar surgery, dental trauma, oral medicine, and paediatric dentoalveolar surgery needs.
- Contribute to the management of simple maxillofacial trauma and participate in running local anaesthetic dentoalveolar lists.
- Collaborate with the OMFS team, including Orthodontics and Restorative Dentistry, to provide comprehensive care to patients.
- Minimum of four years postgraduate experience with at least two years' OMFS experience at DCT level.
- Skilled in dentoalveolar surgery and able to run routine local anaesthetic clinics.
- Evidence of clinical quality improvement.
- Able to run routine general anaesthetic day case lists.
- Study leave allowance for undertaking postgraduate courses or examinations.
- Support for the development of further clinical and professional skills.
