Job Title: HR Trainee

This position, under the guidance of the Head of Resourcing, encompasses a variety of tasks including talent acquisition, employee development, and HR administrative duties. It presents a fantastic opportunity for those embarking on their HR journey, allowing you to grasp essential concepts and participate in a broad spectrum of HR activities.

The selected candidate will engage in the Level 3 HR Support apprenticeship, which is designed to last approximately 13 months.

Key Responsibilities
  • Talent Acquisition
    • Assist in the recruitment process from attracting candidates to managing communications
    • Support initiatives aimed at early career recruitment
    • Maintain the applicant tracking system for efficient candidate management
  • Employee Development
    • Oversee regular online training sessions for all staff
    • Facilitate employee access to online training materials
    • Coordinate learning and development events and activities
  • HR Administration
    • Provide administrative assistance for reference checks, employment letters, and more
    • Manage Purchase Orders and invoice processing
    • Support various HR projects and initiatives as required
Key Requirements
  • No previous HR experience is necessary, but a sincere interest in human resources is essential
  • Customer service-focused with the ability to engage with diverse stakeholders
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
  • Strong analytical skills and a proactive mindset
  • Ability to uphold confidentiality and work effectively in a team
  • Proficiency in MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
  • Support for sustainability initiatives
