Role Overview

As a leading provider of various Apprenticeship Qualifications, including IT, Digital Applications, Digital Marketing, Business Administration, Customer Service, Management, and Children and Young People, we are seeking a proactive, organized, and adaptable individual to fill the position of Business and Administration Assessor. This role primarily operates in a hybrid format, with most responsibilities carried out remotely.

Key Responsibilities:

- Evaluate learners in their workplace against the established SQA standards for Business Administration SCQF 5 while effectively managing your own caseload of learners across Scotland.
- Provide mentorship and support to learners in developing their skills and technical competencies.
- Establish individual targets for each learner based on their capabilities to ensure that key performance indicators (KPIs) are met.
- Monitor the progress of learners throughout their apprenticeship, addressing any challenges to ensure timely qualification achievement.
- Efficiently manage your schedule, maintaining regular communication with learners.

Desired Qualifications:

- Previous experience in delivering Business and Administration or Customer Service SVQ is advantageous but not mandatory, as support will be provided.
- A recognized Assessor qualification would be beneficial, though not essential, as assistance will be available.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications is required.
- Strong organizational skills with a solid approach to managing daily administrative tasks.
- Effective time management skills are necessary due to the high volume of caseloads.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Experience in a target-driven environment with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
