Job Title: Global Client Group Vice President

Join our team as a Global Client Group Vice President, responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with wealth managers, private banks, asset managers, and family offices across the UK.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute sales strategies with local intermediaries in close partnership with the Head of UK Wealth Distribution.
  • Provide dedicated client coverage, focusing on driving growth primarily across private assets, in line with business priorities.
  • Engage with the product development team on client demand and requirements as it relates to private assets.
  • Contribute to the team's collaborative approach to relationship building with strategic clients, including identifying, developing, and nurturing key contacts.
  • Manage and develop existing client relationships, highlighting key focus funds/strategies, contributing to building buy list positions, and identifying new opportunities to partner with key firms.
  • Record and maintain all significant client contact, and manage pipeline updates, on Salesforce, ensuring that notes are captured accurately.
  • Provide guidance and direction to junior members of the team.
  • Actively contribute to team sales meetings, strategy planning, and development.
  • Travel within the UK to support the team's distribution effort with key accounts, contributing to client events, roadshows, and education.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Be highly self-motivated and excited about building a business from the ground up.
  • Be a great listener and team player.
  • Have c.10 years of relevant industry experience, working closely with advisers and wealth managers in the UK, with a minimum of 4 years in a business development role.
  • Have a demonstrable track record of successfully developing and managing a network of client relationships within the UK distribution market.
  • Have a comprehensive understanding of competitors, products, key market trends, UK infrastructure, and industry developments.
  • Be able to speak fluently about private assets.
  • Have the technical ability to understand and solve client problems independently.
  • Understand the different types of clients in the UK wealth market and their business models.
  • Be action-oriented, accountable, committed, driven, and self-motivated, with excellent communication and team-working skills.
  • Have the ability to prioritize, focus, eliminate roadblocks, and execute a sales strategy in a timely manner.
  • Demonstrate a high level of integrity and trust, and a client-centric focus.
  • Have a strong academic background, including an undergraduate degree, and a relevant professional qualification or progress towards one.
