Job Overview

As a Territory Account Executive, you will play a pivotal role in managing and expanding our client relationships.

Compensation Package: £45k - £50k + Car/car allowance with Year 1 earnings potential of £70-80k OTE uncapped

Realistic opportunity in Year 2 to surpass £100k OTE

Remote position with one day in-office presence required, based in either Hemel Hempstead or Bristol

2-3 days of client engagement in London and the surrounding Home Counties, with the remaining time working from home.

CPI Selection is a leading player in the Food & Beverages solutions industry across Europe.

In response to our ongoing growth and success, we are seeking high-performing Territory Account Executives to support the retention and expansion of a diverse client portfolio. This is an exciting chance to join a developing team that offers world-class training and genuine career advancement opportunities.

This position involves a balanced focus on Account Management (70%) and New Business Development (30%), with opportunities for face-to-face client meetings in the Home Counties and London typically two days a week.

The successful candidate will be expected to:

  • Manage a substantial number of existing accounts, ensuring each day presents new challenges.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment where effective time management is essential.
  • Adopt a customer-centric approach, collaborating with internal teams such as Operations and Customer Services to fulfill commitments.
  • Exhibit excellent communication skills, being personable, engaging, and professional.
  • Demonstrate strong commercial awareness, focusing on key objectives such as:
  • Retaining and growing existing client relationships.
  • Expanding account sizes through cross-selling and optimization.
  • Renewing contracts while leveraging the broader product portfolio.
  • Consistently delivering top-tier service and solutions.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in B2B sales, either in a Sales or Account Management capacity.
  • A track record of high achievement in sales, consistently meeting or exceeding targets and KPIs.
  • Experience conducting face-to-face client meetings and a strong self-motivation to achieve ambitious goals.
  • Ability to develop a clear business strategy to identify key clients for focus during each period, particularly given the extensive client base.
  • A natural ability to build consultative and collaborative relationships.
  • Strategic, innovative, self-driven, and possessing a positive and tenacious attitude.
