Job Title: Physiology Assistant

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Physiology Assistant to join our team at King's College Hospital. As a key member of our Paediatric Respiratory team, you will play a vital role in providing a quality-assured lung function testing service.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Lung Function Testing: Assist in the provision of a quality-assured lung function testing service, including spirometry, gas transfer, and lung volume measurements.
  • Sleep Investigation: Assist in the setup and return of home sleep monitoring equipment, download sleep studies, and prepare reports under the supervision of a qualified Physiologist.
  • General Duties: Answer telephone enquiries, make appointments, send out confirmation letters and information leaflets, and perform other administrative tasks as required.
Requirements:
  • 2 Science 'A' levels or equivalent
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work as part of a team
  • Experience of performing quality-assured spirometry, gas transfer, and lung volume measurements
  • Experience of setting up sleep studies
