About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Care Assistant to join our team at Oak Springs Care Home. As a Senior Care Assistant, you will play a key role in providing high-quality care and support to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personal care and support to residents, including bathing, dressing, and toileting
  • Assist residents with daily activities, such as eating, drinking, and mobility
  • Support residents with their medication, including administration and monitoring
  • Develop and maintain relationships with residents, their families, and other healthcare professionals
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of care plans, ensuring they are tailored to individual resident needs
  • Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge
Requirements
  • Level 3 qualification in Health and Social Care or equivalent
  • Experience in a care setting, preferably in a senior care assistant role
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends
