Senior Care Assistant Night Shift Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Senior Care Assistant to join our team at Oak Springs Care Home, working night shifts. As a Senior Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide personal care and support to residents, including bathing, dressing, and toileting.
  • Assist residents with daily activities, such as eating, drinking, and mobility.
  • Support residents with their emotional and social needs, including providing companionship and emotional support.
  • Contribute to the maintenance of a clean and safe environment, adhering to infection control policies and procedures.
  • Participate in staff supervisions, appraisals, and record-keeping, as required.
Requirements:
  • Supervisory/leadership experience in a residential or nursing home setting.
  • A positive outlook and warm personality.
  • Level 3 qualification in Health and Social Care or willingness to work towards.
  • Confident in record-keeping and the use of various technologies.
  • Able to remain calm and guide colleagues under pressure.
  • Flexibility to work shift patterns according to the needs of our residents.
