About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Senior Care Assistant to join our team at Oak Springs Care Home. As a Senior Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personal care and hygiene support to residents, including bathing, dressing, and toileting
  • Assist residents with eating and drinking, and provide emotional support and companionship
  • Support residents to engage in daily activities, such as exercise, hobbies, and social events
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene within the care home environment
  • Support the Home Manager with senior-level duties, including staff supervision, appraisals, and record-keeping
Requirements
  • Supervisory/leadership experience in a residential or nursing home setting
  • A positive outlook and warm personality
  • Level 3 qualification in Health and Social Care or willingness to work towards
  • Confident in record-keeping and the use of various technologies
  • Able to remain calm and guide colleagues under pressure
  • Flexibility to work shift patterns according to the needs of our residents
