About This Role
We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Night Care Assistants to provide exceptional support to an 8-year-old girl with complex medical needs within Haringey, Tottenham. This role involves providing overnight care, ensuring the child's safety, comfort, and well-being throughout the night.
Responsibilities:
- Assisting with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and toileting.
- Administering medication as prescribed by healthcare professionals.
- Monitoring the child's vital signs and reporting any changes to the clinical team.
- Providing emotional support and companionship throughout the night.
- Ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for the child.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Previous experience in providing care to children with complex medical needs is preferred but not essential, as full training will be provided.
- A genuine passion for caring for others and a commitment to delivering high-quality care.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility and willingness to work night shifts, including weekends.
