About the Role:

We are looking for a Business Development Assistant to be the first point of contact for new business prospects and to determine the next steps for each individual prospect moving forward. The successful candidate will be an on-demand point of contact for the team and customers, and will collaborate with other teams within the business to learn from their expertise.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Be the first point of contact for new business prospects and determine the next steps for each individual prospect moving forward
  • Be an on-demand point of contact for the team, and customers
  • Collaborate with other teams within the business and have the opportunity to learn from their expertise
  • Anticipate new business by keeping on top of industry trends and conducting market research to identify new opportunities

Requirements:

  • Educated to degree level
  • Comfortable working in a target-driven environment
  • Possess exceptional communication and interpersonal skills - you must really enjoy engaging with others on a regular basis
  • Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite
  • Self-motivated, with a strong desire to succeed
  • An individual who is looking to thrive in a growing organisation and ignite their sales career
