Key Responsibilities:- Conduct thorough assessments of individuals and families referred to the council, identifying immediate needs and risks.
- Manage cases that require legal intervention under the Mental Capacity Act 2005, Care Act 2014, or other relevant legislation.
- Handle urgent and complex cases with sensitivity and efficiency, providing crisis intervention and support as needed.
- Conduct thorough assessments and produce high-quality, detailed court reports, including Section 7 and Section 47 reports, care plans, and statements.
- Draft and submit legal documents for court proceedings, ensuring accuracy and compliance with statutory guidelines and deadlines.
- Relevant social work qualification.
- 2 years of experience in adult social work, including assessment and care planning.
