Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Executive to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for growing our market share, presence, and gaining end-user specification or preferred supplier status in the UK.

Key Responsibilities
  • Market Growth: Develop and execute strategies to increase revenue in assigned vertical markets.
  • Product Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and enhance our product offerings for the UK market.
  • Customer Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and new customers to gain specification and/or preferred supplier status.
  • Market Research: Conduct research to identify new vertical market opportunities and develop strategies to target them.
  • Value Propositions: Participate in the development of value propositions to assigned and new vertical markets.
  • Solutions Messages: Contribute to the development of solutions messages to assigned and new vertical markets.
  • Customer Management: Manage customer-specific project activities in conjunction with relevant personnel.
  • Service Introduction: Introduce other Mitsubishi Electric services and solutions to customers whenever possible.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with the Project Support Team and Key Accounts Sales Team to achieve business objectives.
Requirements
  • Proven Track Record: A proven track record of selling industrial automation solutions into vertical markets.
  • Customer Interface: A proven track record of interfacing with customers at a senior level and below.
  • Product Knowledge: A knowledge of Mitsubishi Electric automation products and solutions would be an advantage.
  • Qualifications: A recognised qualification / accreditation in electrical/electronic engineering would be favorable.
  • Driving License: Full UK Driving licence.
