Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to join our team at Brecon Beacons National Park Authority. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing the development and delivery of projects and programmes, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to agreed outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the initiation, implementation, monitoring, and review of projects and programmes, including associated risks and issues, and comprehensive reporting and dissemination.
  • Provide expertise in programme and project management, ensuring projects and programmes are designed and delivered to meet organisational objectives.
  • Work collaboratively across the organisation and with relevant stakeholders to ensure the efficient and effective management and delivery of high-quality projects.

Requirements

  • Education to degree level or equivalent relevant experience in a relevant discipline.
  • Recognised project management qualification.

Desirable Skills and Experience

  • Significant demonstrable experience and track record of managing the delivery of high-quality projects and programmes.
  • Knowledge and understanding of project management practices, systems, processes, and procedures.
  • Experience of working with and involving others in the development and implementation of projects.
  • Proven work record of consistently achieving high standards and delivering objectives and priorities.
  • Proven experience of managing budgets and contracts.
