Job Overview

Zodiac Maritime, a leading international ship operating company, is seeking an experienced Chartering Manager to join their team in London. The company provides a wide range of management services for a diverse fleet of commercial ships, including containerships, tankers, bulk carriers, and dual-fuel vessels.

The successful candidate will be responsible for expanding the company's Container Chartering Desk, working closely with the Head of Chartering - Dry Cargo. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a growing and modernizing fleet and operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective chartering strategies to optimize fleet utilization and revenue.
  • Manage and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including shipowners, charterers, and other industry partners.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
  • Collaborate with the commercial team to ensure seamless execution of chartering operations.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in chartering and ship management, preferably in the container or dry cargo sector.
  • Strong knowledge of chartering laws, regulations, and industry best practices.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines.
