Support Worker Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and caring Support Worker to join our team in Newcastle and Gateshead. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with learning disabilities to live happy and fulfilled lives within their local communities.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Provide person-centred support to individuals with learning disabilities, promoting their independence, choice, and voice.
  2. Work collaboratively with individuals, their families, and other professionals to ensure their needs are met.
  3. Develop and maintain positive relationships with individuals, their families, and colleagues.
Requirements:
  • Female applicants only.
  • No degree or care qualifications required.
  • Kind, compassionate, and caring attitude.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
