About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Support Worker/Personal Assistant to join our team at Disability North. As a Support Worker/Personal Assistant, you will play a vital role in enabling our client to live an independent and fulfilling life.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist our client with daily living tasks, including personal care and mobility support
  • Accompany our client on outings and activities, such as going out for a drink or meal, attending the theatre, and visiting the cinema
  • Book tickets and make reservations on behalf of our client
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to our client
  • Assist with household tasks, such as cleaning and laundry

Requirements

  • Good English and listening skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Physical fitness to push a manual wheelchair
  • Permission to work in the U.K.
