**Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Process Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for optimizing manufacturing processes, improving efficiency, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement lean manufacturing principles to improve production efficiency and reduce waste.
  • Design and optimize manufacturing cell layouts to improve workflow and productivity.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements.
  • Conduct risk assessments and develop safe systems of work to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Specify and purchase tooling and equipment to support manufacturing processes.
  • Ensure configuration control of operational documentation and compliance with ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001 regulations.
  • Investigate and resolve non-conformities and production issues.
  • Eliminate routing and material variances.
  • Provide production support and technical solutions to meet business requirements.

Requirements:

  • Equivalent experience in a comparable role.
  • Process documentation authoring and writing of procedures and work instructions.
  • Experience in optimizing production processes and providing production support.
  • Problem-solving skills and experience with root cause analysis tools.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and communicate effectively at all levels.
  • IT literacy and proficiency in MS Office and similar applications.
  • Understanding of engineering drawings, schematics, and diagrams.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Mechanical, Electrical, or Manufacturing Engineering degree or engineering qualification.
  • Experience in implementing lean manufacturing principles.
  • Tooling design and development skills.
  • Technical knowledge in mechanical, electrical, and pneumatics.
  • Basic CAD skills for layout design and design model interrogation.
  • MRP/ERP system use, preferably SAP.
  • DFM/PFMEA awareness.
  • Experience in implementing change and change management.
  • Risk assessments and understanding of compliance requirements to health and safety, environmental, and quality regulations.
  • Project management experience, including risk, schedule, and cost.
