Job Title: Aftersales Applications Engineer

Finning International is seeking a skilled Aftersales Applications Engineer to join our team. As an Applications Engineer, you will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between our engineering capabilities and sales efforts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert engineering advice and support to our sales team in the preparation of commercial offers.
  • Accompany sales representatives at customer meetings and site visits to ensure comprehensive understanding and fulfilment of technical requirements.
  • Supply technical knowledge and designs through precise calculations and detailed drawings.
  • Engage directly with customers to address engineering and technical inquiries.
  • Advise management and depot managers on project-specific purchases and specialized cross-rent options to meet customer needs effectively.
  • Provide engineering advice and support to develop and enhance product applications.
  • Prepare and hand over detailed project documentation and specifications to the Depot Team.
Requirements:
  • Degree in Engineering or Apprentice to HND level or significant industry experience.
  • Working knowledge of engines and engine installations.
  • Experience in design, development, and validation of components.
  • Experience in presenting solutions in customer-facing meetings.
  • Ability to undertake detailed on-site test work.
