Application Packaging and Deployment Specialist

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Application Packaging and Deployment Specialist to join our team at bet365. As a key member of our IT infrastructure team, you will be responsible for the design, configuration, and management of all application packaging and security patching technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, configure, and manage application packaging and security patching technologies to ensure seamless deployment and maintenance of applications across the estate.
- Create packaged applications adhering to company standards for global deployment, ensuring compliance and security.
- Install security, non-security, OS, third-party, and feature updates across the estate for on-premise and SaaS applications.
- Review new and current technologies and present service improvements to enhance the business.
- Manage and support end-user technology platforms, including deployment, security, device management, and application packaging.
- Produce technical documentation associated with each platform and service, such as high-level designs, low-level designs, and technical design guides.
- Incorporate continual rollouts, upgrades, and removals of applications to ensure the business remains compliant and secure.
- Record configuration standards and processes, create training material, quick guides, and knowledge-based articles.
- Create reports and dashboards to build a view of the estate.
- Adhere to all published processes, procedures, and working practices as outlined in standard operating procedures.
Requirements
- Ability to manage and support endpoint tools and services such as Microsoft Endpoint Manager (MECM), SCCM, Intune, and Azure.
- Excellent knowledge of application packaging tooling, including Master Packager, Admin Studio, PSADT, and Orca.
- Experience in large-scale application rollouts, upgrades, and removals end-to-end.
- Strong analytical and documentation skills.
- Experience with Microsoft 365 App Admin Centre and Entra administration tasks.
- Exposure to PowerShell Universal, Grafana, and Splunk.
- Advanced PowerShell and scripting knowledge used in conjunction with APIs.
- Strong interpersonal skills and aptitude to interact with various areas of the business.
- Experience with managing and delivering projects.
- Enhanced knowledge of security principles and experience using WSUS, AutoPatch, Ivanti, and Patch My PC.
