Role Overview
This position involves responding to and resolving vehicle (bus) breakdowns on-site, performing changeovers and minor repairs on the roadside.
Key Responsibilities
Respond to and repair breakdowns Execute changeovers and minor repairs on-site Manage parts inventory as needed Adhere to health and safety regulations Deliver high-quality repairs or temporary fixes to ensure the bus returns to the depot Foster effective working relationships with colleagues Maintain accurate breakdown records, ensuring paperwork is current and correctly completed Undertake additional duties as assigned by the engineering managerCandidate Profile
Do you possess a valid UK driver's licence? Are you a resident of the UK? A PCV licence is not mandatory, but it would be beneficial; we will assist you in obtaining it if necessary. Do you have relevant on-the-job experience?Shift Pattern: Rotating 5 over 7, including early shifts and late weekends
Hourly Compensation: £14.00
