The Role
This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires attention to detail and a passion for vehicle repair. As a Roadside Vehicle Technician, you'll be responsible for attending and repairing vehicle breakdowns on the road, carrying out change overs and minor repairs, and ensuring that all work is completed to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities
- Attend and repair vehicle breakdowns on the road
- Carry out change overs and minor repairs
- Booking out parts when required
- Work within health and safety regulations
- Deliver a high standard of repair/temp repair to get bus back to depot
- Ensure an effective working relationship with staff
- Complete accurate breakdown records, keeping paperwork up to date and filled in correctly
- Carry out any other duties as deemed suitable by the engineering manager
About You
- You hold a valid UK driver's licence
- You are a UK resident
- You have on-the-job experience
Shifts and Benefits
