Job Description:

Restaurant Operations Manager

N.E. Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant Operations Manager to join our team. As a key member of our restaurant management team, you will be responsible for the day-to-day supervision of our restaurant operations, ensuring that our high standards of service and quality are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise, train, motivate, develop, and lead a team of restaurant staff to ensure the smooth delivery of service and maintain high standards.
  • Ensure the restaurant and food and beverage areas are ready for service and reset for next service.
  • Meet and greet guests, ensuring a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
  • Ensure the service of food and beverages is smooth and timely, in accordance with our standards.
  • Ensure guest satisfaction and promote food and beverage sales.
  • Develop and maintain good wine knowledge.
  • Ensure the work area is clean and tidy.
  • Manage the service, particularly during busy periods.
  • Excellent communication skills and a passion for guest service are essential.
  • Hands-on role, on the floor.
  • Compliance with government guidelines and statutory regulations.

Requirements:

  • Previous supervisory or managerial experience in a restaurant or food and beverage environment.
  • Good all-round background, including previous experience of bar, restaurant, wedding, and other function service operations.
  • Hands-on approach, with a focus on engaging with guests and ensuring maximum customer satisfaction.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and lead a team during busy periods.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

What We Offer:

  • Competitive salary from £35,000 per annum, plus a share of tips.
  • Possibility of accommodation on site, on a temporary basis.
  • Transportation will be needed due to the location.
