Position Overview:

As a vital member of the Protective Security Team, you will oversee and manage the execution of our security operations, ensuring the safety of our essential assets and corporate facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as a security ambassador within the organization, ensuring the protection of personnel, processes, facilities, and assets.
  • Serve as the primary contact for all third-party security operations, including static guarding, mobile patrols, and temporary electronic security measures.
  • Engage proactively with service providers, monitor performance metrics, and prepare reports for senior management.
  • Develop and maintain effective patrol routes and resources, ensuring compliance with security protocols and reporting any incidents or breaches.
  • Manage security procedures for corporate sites and conduct investigations into security incidents while reviewing risk assessments.
  • Represent the Protective Security Team in regional meetings with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
  • Support departmental projects and initiatives as required.
  • Provide expert security advice in line with relevant regulations and policies.
  • Promote uniform security standards and ensure compliance across the organization.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of innovative security solutions.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including law enforcement and regulatory bodies.
  • Prepare reports and briefings, ensuring effective communication of security matters.
  • Participate in strategic planning and share innovative ideas for improvement.
  • Test and evaluate security measures to ensure compliance with established standards.
  • Plan and oversee specialized security projects in collaboration with project teams.

Qualifications:
  • Experience in a regulated sector such as utilities or government.
  • Proven leadership experience in security management or risk assessment roles.
  • Background in launching new security services and managing project delivery.
  • Expertise in conducting security assessments and incident investigations.
  • Experience managing both static and mobile security services, with proficiency in data analysis and reporting.
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Exceptional organizational abilities with a capacity to manage multiple priorities.
  • Demonstrated leadership and negotiation skills.
  • Valid UK driving license.
