Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a key representative for security within the organization, ensuring the protection of personnel, processes, facilities, and assets.
- Serve as the primary liaison for all third-party security services, including static guarding, mobile patrols, and temporary electronic security systems.
- Proactively manage security services by engaging with service providers, monitoring performance metrics, and preparing reports for senior management.
- Develop and maintain patrol routes and resources, ensuring compliance with established protocols and addressing incidents effectively.
- Oversee site security protocols and conduct investigations into security breaches, along with reviewing risk assessments.
- Participate in regional meetings to represent the Protective Security Team and collaborate with various stakeholders.
- Implement additional tasks to support departmental objectives and project-related initiatives.
- Provide actionable security guidance in line with relevant regulations and policies.
- Promote uniform standards and ensure alignment of security practices across the organization.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of innovative security solutions.
- Foster relationships with internal and external partners, including law enforcement and regulatory bodies.
- Prepare reports and deliver briefings as necessary.
- Engage in strategic planning and share new ideas for improvement.
- Test and evaluate security measures to ensure compliance with standards.
- Plan and manage specialized security projects in collaboration with project teams.
Qualifications:
- Experience in a regulated industry such as utilities or government.
- Proven leadership experience in security roles, including protective security and risk management.
- Background in mobilizing new services and managing project delivery.
- Expertise in conducting security assessments and incident investigations.
- Experience managing both static and mobile security services, including data analysis and reporting.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize effectively.
- Demonstrated leadership and negotiation skills.
- Valid UK driving license.
