Job Summary:

The Fire and Security Chief Engineer will be responsible for leading a team of engineers in the development and performance of engineering services. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in the fire and security industry, preferably with experience leading a team of engineers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide guidance and support to engineers and senior engineers on training needs and branch contribution targets.
  • Encourage compliance with company procedures, including contract/design review, health and safety, company vehicle use, timesheets, holiday forms, business expenses, and controlling material cost.
  • Lead the team in achieving service level targets and customer requirements.
  • Carry out performance reviews of engineers and monitor their adherence to job descriptions.
  • Promote the generation of sales opportunities and work with the HR Department and Management to identify training needs within the business.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the fire and security industry.
  • Experience leading a team of engineers.
  • Good communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Clean criminal record as all engineers must be DBS checked.
