We are seeking a skilled Injection Mould Setter to join our team at The Recruitment Group. As a key member of our manufacturing team, you will be responsible for setting up, adjusting, and maintaining moulding machines to ensure high-quality production.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Fit and set both insert and full tools to our range of moulding machines
  • Ensure zero moulding defects or rework
  • Optimize cycle rates to achieve or exceed production targets
  • Perform regular cleaning and maintenance of machines to ensure 100% uptime
  • Conduct first-off inspections of parts to ensure quality standards
  • Carry out basic maintenance and cleaning of tools before, during, or after production runs
  • Maintain a safe and organized working environment

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in setting mould machines, preferably with Engel and Arburg equipment
  • Desirable experience with robot settings and programming
  • Knowledge of multi-cavity, hot runner, and hot tip systems
  • Understanding of engineering polymers and their optimization and processing
  • A strong focus on quality and productivity
  • Self-motivated, adaptable, organized, and able to work independently
  • A positive attitude and a willingness to learn and improve
