Injection Mould Setter Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Injection Mould Setter to join our team at The Recruitment Group. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for setting up, adjusting, and maintaining moulding machines to ensure high-quality production.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Fit and set both insert and full tools to our range of moulding machines
  • Ensure zero moulding defects or rework
  • Optimize cycle rates to achieve or exceed targets
  • Perform regular cleaning of machines to ensure 100% uptime
  • Conduct first-off inspection of parts
  • Carry out basic maintenance and cleaning of tools before, after, or during production runs
  • Maintain a tidy and safe working environment
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in setting mould machines (preferably Engel & Arburg)
  • Desirable experience with robot settings
  • Knowledge of multi-cavity, hot runner, and hot tip systems
  • Understanding of engineering polymers and their optimization and processing (specifically PP, ABS, GFN)
  • A strong focus on quality and speed
  • Self-motivated, adaptable, organized, and able to use initiative
  • A positive can-do attitude
