Injection Mould Setter Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Injection Mould Setter to join our team at The Recruitment Group. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for setting up, adjusting, and maintaining moulding machines to ensure high-quality production.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Set up and adjust moulding machines to achieve optimal performance
  • Ensure zero moulding defects or rework by conducting regular quality checks
  • Monitor and maintain cycle rates to meet production targets
  • Perform routine cleaning and maintenance tasks to ensure machine uptime
  • Conduct first-off inspections to ensure parts meet quality standards
  • Perform basic maintenance and cleaning of tools before, during, or after production runs
  • Maintain a safe and organized working environment
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in setting mould machines, preferably with Engel and Arburg
  • Desirable experience with robot settings and multi-cavity, hot runner, and hot tip systems
  • Knowledge of engineering polymers and their processing
  • Strong focus on quality and speed
  • Self-motivated, adaptable, organized, and able to use initiative
  • Positive can-do attitude
