Embedded Software Developer

Allen & Heath Limited is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Chinese-Speaking Embedded Software Engineer to join our Research and Development team.
Job SummaryWe are looking for a talented software engineer to work on exciting new digital audio mixing products. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing software to a high standard, testing, debugging, and documenting code methodically.
Key Responsibilities- Develop software features for new and existing products.
- Collaborate with the research and development team to design and implement software solutions.
- Test and debug code to ensure high-quality software delivery.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A degree or HND in Electronics, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent knowledge.
- Experience with C programming on embedded systems.
- Ability to read circuit schematics.
- Experience programming Cortex/ARM/Freescale/PIC processors.
- Electronic skills at component level (soldering, use of oscilloscopes, etc.).
- Understanding of serial communications/USB.
- C++ Programming.
- Object-Oriented Software analysis and design.
- Understanding of audio concepts.
- Some experience or interest in audio.
We are looking for a highly motivated individual with excellent communication skills, able to work as part of a team and on self-directed project work. You should be able to use your own initiative and enjoy problem-solving.
LocationWe are based in Cornwall, and we are looking for someone who is willing to relocate to this beautiful region.
