About The Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team in Penryn. As a Support Worker, you will work closely with colleagues and external agencies to provide support services to individuals experiencing complex needs, including substance and alcohol misuse, mental health issues, and domestic abuse. This role requires lone working and flexibility to work days, evenings, and weekends.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement individualized support plans to meet the unique needs of each service user.
  • Conduct regular risk assessments and manage risk effectively to ensure the safety and well-being of service users and colleagues.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with service users, colleagues, and external agencies.
  • Provide emotional support and guidance to service users, promoting independence and autonomy.
  • Document progress and outcomes in a clear and concise manner, using relevant software and systems.
Requirements
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with service users and colleagues.
  • Experience of working with individuals with complex needs, including mental health, substance misuse, and domestic abuse.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to work.
  • Highly organized and able to manage multiple priorities, with good time management skills.
  • Confident in lone working and willing to work days, evenings, and weekends.
