Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Embedded Software Engineer to join our Research and Development team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and testing software for our exciting new digital audio mixing products.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Design, develop, and test software for embedded systems.
  2. Collaborate with the development team to ensure software meets the required specifications and quality standards.
  3. Develop software features for new and existing products.
  4. Work closely with the electronics team to ensure software and hardware are compatible.
  5. Debug and troubleshoot software issues.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  1. A degree or HND in Electronics, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent knowledge.
  2. Experience with C programming on embedded systems.
  3. Ability to read circuit schematics.
  4. Experience programming Cortex/ARM/Freescale/PIC processors.
  5. Electronic skills at component level (soldering, use of oscilloscopes, etc.).
  6. Understanding of serial communications/USB.
  7. C++ Programming.
  8. Object-Oriented Software analysis and design.
  9. Understanding of audio concepts.
  10. Some experience or interest in audio.
Disposition

A highly motivated individual with the ability to work as part of a team and on self-directed project work. Should be able to use own initiative and enjoy problem-solving. Will have good communication skills, possessing the ability to liaise with personnel at all levels. Must be dedicated with a flexible approach to working hours.
