Lead Support for Individuals with Learning Disabilities

Vetro Recruitment is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Service Manager to oversee a respite setting in Dorchester, providing exceptional care to individuals with learning disabilities, physical disabilities, and some challenging behaviors.
This rewarding role involves managing support for approximately 45 individuals annually, ensuring high-quality care and strict adherence to regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will possess a genuine passion for supporting individuals and creating a positive and engaging environment.
About the Role:- Lead and inspire a team of support staff in delivering exceptional care to residents.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans tailored to each resident's unique needs and goals.
- Collaborate with families, healthcare professionals, and other stakeholders to ensure comprehensive and coordinated support.
- Monitor and evaluate the quality of care provided, implementing improvements as needed.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
You are a natural leader with a proven track record in managing teams within a healthcare setting. You possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to build strong relationships with residents, families, and colleagues alike. Essential Requirements:- QCF Level 5 in Health and Social Care or equivalent qualification
- Previous experience as a Deputy Manager or Service Manager within a similar setting
- A valid driving license is essential due to the nature of the role.
