Job Overview

Oxford Health NHS Foundation Trust is seeking enthusiastic and motivated Registered Nurses to join our forward-thinking nurse-led team at Didcot Community Hospital in Oxfordshire.

Main Duties of the Job

We are looking for dedicated professionals to work with our multidisciplinary team, providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the rehabilitation and complex discharge management of patients with a wide range of conditions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and support ward staff in their day-to-day work and development, promoting interdisciplinary team working.
  • Provide information, training, and support to promote effective patient care and discharge from the ward area.
  • Lead Healthcare Assistants and peers to ensure a high standard of patient-centred care.
  • Contribute to the monitoring and auditing of standards of care in the ward area.
  • Attend multidisciplinary team meetings and share key issues across the ward team.
  • Ensure the effective and efficient use of resources.
  • Work proactively as the ward and bed coordinator, ensuring adequate staffing levels are maintained.
Person Specification

We are looking for individuals with the following qualifications and experience:

  • Current NMC RN Level One or due to qualify following completion of a University degree.
  • Evidence of ongoing development and education.
