Job Overview

Oxford Health NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Didcot Community Hospital in Oxfordshire. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our multidisciplinary team.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

As a Registered Nurse at Didcot Community Hospital, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing patient-centered care and promoting effective discharge management
  • Supervising and supporting ward staff in their day-to-day work and development
  • Providing leadership to Healthcare Assistants and peers to ensure high standards of patient care
  • Contributing to the monitoring and auditing of care standards in the ward area
  • Attending multidisciplinary team meetings and sharing key issues with the ward team
  • Working proactively as the ward and bed coordinator to ensure adequate staffing levels
Person Specification

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Current NMC RN Level One or due to qualify following completion of University degree
  • Evidence of ongoing development and education
  • Rehabilitation skills and experience working with multidisciplinary teams
  • Ability to demonstrate potential for management and leadership
