About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Head of Bids to join our team at Bid Recruitment. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading and improving the bid management process, ensuring alignment with our strategic objectives and optimizing win rates.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement bid strategies to drive business growth and revenue expansion.
  • Lead a dedicated team of bid professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure successful proposal submissions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, operations, and legal, to ensure comprehensive and compliant proposals.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clients and partners.
  • Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to inform bid strategies and improve win rates.
Requirements
  • Proven track record in bid management, with a strong understanding of the bid process and proposal development.
  • Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a high-performing team.
  • Strong commercial acumen, with a deep understanding of business development and revenue growth strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines, with a strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
