Job Description

We are proud to be partnering with a leading Social Housing provider with ambitious plans to build 2000 homes over the next decade, who are looking to appoint a Development Project Manager.

This will be a full-time position based in a dynamic environment, with an agile working policy and a competitive salary of £43,982 per annum and a host of benefits.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with S106 agreements, land-led development projects, and the full development journey.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Spearheading the Development journey including; Planning, Contract Negotiation, Risk Assessment and Financial Appraisal
  • Supporting the identification of new development opportunities through site finding, S106 bidding and working with the development team
  • Testing the viability and deliverability of opportunities by undertaking site visits, reviewing scheme documentation
  • Managing the journey of the Grant Claim process, and ensuring records can withstand stringent audits
  • Supporting the wider organisation with rent setting, forecasting, cashflow and audit/charging

Requirements:

  • Experience within Social Housing is essential
  • Experience in domestic development projects

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise:

  • Understanding the development process from planning, contract negotiation, risk assessment to financial appraisal.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and influencing skills.
  • Strong level of financial literacy, commercial awareness and understanding of how to develop a risk management framework
